8KLO 2025
3 days, artists, ideas, mental health. The 14, 15 and 16th of November of 2025 at the TRAKK Namur, groups of animators, illustrators and authors reunited to face one challenge : create a short film in 72 hours.
Mental health was the main theme, because it is not talked about enough though shaping our everyday life. Invisible, fragile, essential, we decided to put it to the spotlight on it.

We started the first day with a quick breakfast, followed by the explanations of the event. We revealed the hidden meaning behind 8KLO (huis-clos), which means that all the short films where narratively structured to happen in a closed space.
From then, every group where able to exchange freely with psychotherapists, confronting them with the reality of mental health matters. Allowing them to tackle this subject without falling in screenwriting clichés.
Day 2
Some participants where interviewed, everyone worked hard on their short films. All in a heartwarming atmosphere.
Day 3
The last stretch, but mostly a focused atmosphere and expectations for the big projection. The official jury joined us to enjoy our participants presenting what they poured their heart into the last few days. Everything ending in a cheerful closing drink.
